Summary

AdTool is an online ad performance tracking platform. It was built in 2008 and hasn’t receive much maintenance over the years.

User complained about the lack of speed to generate reports, outdated features and erroneous data. As a result, users were only using a fraction of the available features.

Project

Our main goal was to improve report loading speed. To do so, we conducted a series of user interview and observation sessions to better understand which features users were using the most, and which ones were obsolete. We redesigned the platform keeping only the essential features. By removing the redundancies in content and functionalities, we were able to improve report generation speed and therefore, reduce daily time consuming operations.
